Because risers come in different lengths i.e 23" 24" 25" & 27" all our ILF limb options are listed as short medium or long. The marked limb weight is the weight marked by the manufacturer. The table below shows the bow lengths you can make.

The limb fitting on all the limbs listed above (with the exception of the  Hoyt Formula Bows and wooden handle trainer bows) are what is commonly known in archery circles as ILF (International limb fit Hoyt now call this HDS - Hoyt Dovetail System or their Grand Prix range). This means that limbs can be interchangeable between risers and limbs with the same fitting. Mixing and matching different manufacturers products is also possible but you may find the fit varies, the range of adjustment might not be as expected , weights may be different to those marked on the limb and small minor modifications maybe required to get the best fit, none of this is a manufacturing default just the simple fact that Hoyt have never released the details of the original design which ILF is based on. The best way to buy limbs and handles is in person at a Pro Shop like the one we run, where the experience of the staff and the use of proper shooting facilities will help you to decide what works best for you.​
